Record Store Day Remains and a Note of Thanks

A huge thanks to all those who came to Record Store Day at Rediscover Records and any other record store you may like to call your own. It really was a great day with great customer rapport not only with us, but with other record shoppers. Thank you once again. Without further waste of verbal noodling, there are a few titles that remain. We'll post another update in a week or so, but as of about 1pm Sunday, April 17th, this is what remains, in no particular order.

Supplies limited, first come first serve. Call us to ask what is available. Items are not on our site to purchase, but we can make transactions via PayPal or over the phone. The pricing has remained the regular RSD prices, fyi.

Record Store Day List 2016

We will open promptly by 8am on Saturday April 16th. Those in line, thanks for your patience, and your pleasant demeanor while you wait, The rapport that goes on with other music fans and camaraderie of Record Store Day with others is one of the things that makes it special. Please enter in an orderly fashion, like usual. Please make your choices promptly (only one record of one artist per person. For example, one person could not buy all of the Zappa records. This will be enforced) as there will be others waiting. RSD releases will be in the 3-tiered rack where the New Releases usually are. We'll let approx 5-6 people at a time in front of the rack to make their selections.

Without further verbal noodling, here is our list. Some titles are in smaller numbers (some just one or two) as is the case with limited pressings of certain titles. Some titles, as a store, we were shut out as well. Some of the more sought after titles that we just received just one or two copies. A few of them are indicated in parenthesis.

We are an official Record Store Day shop and Record Store Day 2016 is April 16th. We will OPEN promptly by 8am on RSD. We will post the list of our RSD titles on our website, our Facebook page, and this blog. We'll tweet out links as well. Look for our list of RSD16 releases no later than April 14th. We anticipate having dozens of the titles, not every artist or title due to the nature of limited pressings of certain titles. Our site at Rediscover Records

We do normally have a decent sized line the morning of RSD. Use your own judgment, of course, if there is a title you are really aching for for when to arrive here. It's usually a great day of camaraderie with fellow music aficionados and fans of Record Store Day and the medium of vinyl. After the initial rush from about 8am to a little after 9am, there are several titles still left, other than the usual one or ten really hot items people are looking for.

We'll normally have some complimentary coffee, soft drinks, bottled water and snacks available. Often times we'll have some live music later in the afternoon or that evening, but as of this writing, we have nothing lined up at the moment.
